Daniel Gillespie Clowes (for instance credited when Dan Clowes) occurs as comics-author & cartoonist of alternative comic books, including Eightball and Lloyd Llewelyn. He is better known by mainstream audiences for the picture show Ghost World, which was an adaptation of one of his stories.

Biography
Clowes was innate within April 14th, 1961 in Chicago. Inside 1979, he finished senior high school & attended a Pratt Institute within Brooklyn, New York. Fallowing gaining his BFA, he unsuccessfully attempted to locate operate within Future York as an illustrator. From either 1985 to 1989 he contributed each art & stories to Cracked magazine, working extensively on the feature known as "The Uggly Family." Eightball
A 1st extended piece serialized within Eightball was "Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron." Appearing inside issues One-10, this story featured the disjointed, phantasmagoric plot line. Trivia
The independent character of Ghost Globe is known as Enid Coleslaw, which is an anagram for Daniel Clowes. Clowes's nontextual matter can too exist as seen in the Ramones video for "I Don't Want to Grow Up".
