Biography
Clowes was innate within April 14th, 1961 in Chicago. Inside 1979, he finished senior high school & attended a Pratt Institute within Brooklyn, New York. Fallowing gaining his BFA, he unsuccessfully attempted to locate operate within Future York as an illustrator. From either 1985 to 1989 he contributed each art & stories to Cracked magazine, working extensively on the feature known as "The Uggly Family." Inside 1985 Clowes wrote his foremost Lloyd Llewellyn story, which he sent to Fantagraphics' Gary Groth and which soon appeared around issue Long dozen of the Hernandez Brothers' Love and Rockets. Clowes's Lloyd Llewellyn comedian run hexad issues, & within 1988 a survive Lloyd Llewellyn title, A Tons-Just released Lloyd Llewellyn Favorite, appeared. So around 1989 Fantagraphics published a number one issue of Eightball, which, as of 2005, is at issue 23. Tons of his subsequent books originally appeared when serials around Eightball. He sleep in Oakland, California.

Eightball
A 1st extended piece serialized within Eightball was "Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron." Appearing inside issues One-10, this story featured the disjointed, phantasmagoric plot line. A number 1 twelve or even and so issues of Eightball often featured the total of short comedic stories, however afterwards issues develop tended to focus in yearn narration. Ghost World was released as a collection witharound 1997 when existence serialized in Eightball (11-18). It was adapted by Clowes & director Terry Zwigoff into a good-length feature within 2001; two were nominated for an Oscar for the screenplay. Ice Haven was freed withwithin June of 2005 by Pantheon in the revised & reformatted hardback edition.

Trivia
The independent character of Ghost Globe is known as Enid Coleslaw, which is an anagram for Daniel Clowes. Clowes's nontextual matter can too exist as seen in the Ramones video for "I Don't Want to Grow Up".
